The over all experience was positive, productive and kept on track. Mark did an excellent job. What impressed me the most about Mark was not only his ability to obtain the mortgage, but his sensitivity to understanding the date when my family and I needed funding before the holidays. Marked came through big time.

As we came closer to the target funding date, Toni did a great job setting up the settlement, and pursuing close out figures. There was a possibility that funding would unfortunately end up in January, but Toni was able to successfully set up settlement before the holidays.

If anyone is looking for a mortgage, over all I would recommend Kuranda.

I had the pleasure of refinancing my current mortgage using Kuranda Mortgage, Inc. This is my 2nd time working with this firm and I have to say even after 15 years in business, the customer service remains exceptional. The available rates were by far the best compared to either online only lenders or traditional bricks and mortar shops. The fees are reasonable and clearly explained. No surprises.

In my quest for the best loan when I purchased my home this past May I researched many ]different lenders to find the mortgage that was right for me and my family. Kuranda Mortgage was my choice and by far the best decision I could have made!

Kuranda was able to offer me a lower interest rate than any of the other lenders I researched and provided me with repayment options that meet my needs for today and will ultimately save me thousands of dollars down the road in interest charges!

In addition to their great rates and programs, Kuranda Mortgage was never more than a phone call or email away to answer any questions I had. I even had direct access to the President (Tom Kuranda) if I wanted to speak with him. They were always quick to response and Tom and his staff (especially my account rep Megan; she's spectacular!) were on top of every detail from the day I submitted my application till we sat down at the settlement table.

Settlement went great. We were in and out of the office in less than 40 minutes. Even my realtor who has been in the business for more than 10 years said that he was impressed with how smooth and quick the closing went, which I believe to be a direct result of the time and attention the Kuranda team took to make sure everything was in order when we got to the table.

Great! Really appreciated that Marc worked with us to get the kind of refin that we needed (one where there were no closing costs and the only thing we paid for was the appraisal). He kept us in mind and waited until the rates dropped enough that we could do this; plus we shorten the loan payoff time (assuming our monthly payment is the same as before; if not, we benefit from saving about $100/month). Mark is excellent to work with - would highly recommend!

Mark was very professional! When things got crazy (and they did) he remained calm, when I was ready to give up, he convinced me to stay the course. I have been in the real-estate business for over 10 years. I have seen mortgage people come and go, but Mark was by far the best. Even though I knew what I was doing, he still made time to explain everything and never talked down to me or my wife.

I felt comfortable knowing he was working for me. He always answered the phone or called back. He never left me hanging; I was updated all of the time. He is a true asset to your company!!!!

I really appreciate all that you've done to help me be able to make settlement on my new house and generally your commitment to doing the right thing. You don't see a lot of that. Some things happened that none of us are happy about, but the most important thing is how we reacted once things got to where they got. My main purpose is to tell you what a great experience it has been working with Toni. I realize everything is a team effort and I'm sure your reputation in the industry helped, but from what I experienced, her efforts were tremendous. The events of the last week and a half were very stressful on top of a lot of other stress and had this not worked out I would have taken a big step backwards. I have to say that Toni was amazing through this. Her knowledge and expertise in the field are incredible. Her ability to work with the lender was outstanding. Her intensity to see this thru to closure and to keep me informed and always be responsive to me are qualities that are exceptional and unique. And all of that wrapped up in an incredibly pleasant and kindhearted person is really out of this world. You are very lucky to have her on your team. Hi Tom,

Sorry it has taken me a few days to get back to you.

I have decided not to go through with the re-fi due to the lower than expected appraisal and the resulting lowering of the Chase line limit if we were to re-finance.

We are a one income home right now and it is important to have the HELOC as a safety net for those times when we really need it. Thats the main reason I got the HELOC in the first place. It is prime minus a half for another for another 5+ years.

Please know that my decision in no way reflects any disatisfaction with your services or that of Kuranda employees--all of which have been exemplary. I will have no problem reccomending Kuranda to friends and family and Kuranda will no doubt be my first call for future mortgage related services.

Sorry for not using your client satisfaction form. I am traveling and it is far easier to write you and describe my experience with your firm.

I am a second time client of the firm having worked with Seth French three years ago. I found Mr. French very professional and knowledgeable. It was a joy and pleasure to work with him and your firm.

This time around I asked for Mr. French and found he was not available. I hesitated to move forward with Mark; however, in a very professional sales manner he described to situation and asked if I wouldn't mind restarting the process with him. I agreed and the ball started rolling forward.

Mark is among the most knowledgeable real estate guys I know. He was quick (and thorough) in understanding my situation and goals. The underwriting process was carefully described to me including those issues that could slow down the process. In three weeks we accomplished our mission and along the way he communicated well with me. The settlement process was straightforward. It was scheduled and all documents were prepared correctly. The settlement officer at Delaware Abstract was as professional as well.

I had driven by Kuranda's storefront in Ardmore many times. When it came time to look for a lender, I contacted my present lender, the one recommended by my realtor, and Kuranda. I met personally with the owner, Tom Kuranda, and an associate from that office. From the time I first contacted them via email to the day of settlement, everyone I dealt with was professional, courteous, available, and knowledgeable. Tom and his staff met my every need, answered every question, and provided competitive rates that could not be beat. We asked a lot of them, and they complied readily with every request we made. Over the last several months I've worked with Tom Gordon of your firm to refinance my house and establish a home equity line of credit.

This was hardly the first time I've been through the mortgage process, but it's the first time there were no negative surprises. His advice was good. Dear Tom,

I wanted to write to you to let you know how pleased our entire closing process was thanks largely in part to Dave Roomberg. We found our house back in November of 2000 and had a pre-approval letter from Cendant (PHH). At that time they had advised me against doing an 80/15/5 and paying PMI instead. I had started through the application process when I decided that doing the 80/15/5 was in my best interest. A sales person who had been specially assigned to me as "someone who will win my business" (because I had voiced my displeasure of Cendant's ability to get their act together to my Real Estate agent who was with Century 21) told me he could not get me an 80/15/5 but with some number adjusting could get us an 80/10/10 at a higher (10.5% at the time) interest rate. I had been watching Kuranda's rates through Monstermoving.com and was impressed at how low they were and had spoken to Dave very briefly when calling to find out about the fees. About the same time Dave had sent a follow-up e-mail so I called him about my issue. I told him my credit scores and he assured me that he would have no problem approving me for the loan I wanted. I have to say Dave "won my business" and he (Kuranda) will in the future and will be at the top of my recommend list. The internet can be a scary place to find something as important as this and it was extremely positive experience for us. If you ever need me as a reference please do not hesitate and give Dave the recognition he deserves and many thanks from us!!
